Looks like Russell Brand, the star of Get Him to the Greek and arm candy for Katy Perry, is looking into making a soccer film about a washed-up alcoholic British football star exiled to Texas.
The character is reportedly based on Frank McAvennie, who played for West Ham, the East London club Brand has supported since childhood.
"Russell will have to improve his footie skills though," a source told The Sun. "He's never hidden the fact he's not the greatest person to have ever played the game."
