The United Way and L.A. Wolves Headline Kicking + Screening 2024 Lineup on March 14-16, 2024

The 2024 Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival lineup is set. Headlined by Manchester United biography The United Way and nostalgia-drenched documentary When L.A. Wolves Conquered the USA, this year’s festival features stories about soccer journeys with the power to transform places, people, and passions.

K+S 2024 will run from Thursday, March 14, through Saturday, March 16. It will take place at a new venue for the festival: Football Cafe, a recently opened soccer cultural center on New York’s Lower East Side.

“The soccer film scene is exploding right now, and we are thrilled to bring some of the best ones to fans in New York,” said K+S cofounder Rachel Markus. “The transformative power of soccer really comes to life in this year’s films, showing us how one person, one moment, or one idea can change not only the game, but also the culture within which the game exists. It’s thrilling and inspiring.”

Additional programming, including panel discussions and special events, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The venue: Located in the heart of New York’s downtown soccer scene, Football Cafe was founded by former USMNT and MLS player Kyle Martino and has quickly become an integral part of the city’s soccer culture.
